About the event
On October 4th, On Track Saluda will partner with the Saluda Community Land Trust (SCLT) for a delightful guided nature walk. Come join us for an easy 1 mile walk on the Lazy Girl Trail that traverses a stream, running near downtown Saluda. Whether you’ve enjoyed this trail before or it’s new to you, you won’t want to miss this event!
We invite you to see the forest with new eyes. We’ll wander with naturalist June Ellen Bradley and discover some of the magic of this natural setting. We will identify plants that are edible, medicinal and also ones that host pollinators. This is a great time of year to learn how the trees work as a system with plants and animals to live synergistically.
