Intro to Improv!

What the heck is improv? It’s what we do every day--meet, talk, do, move--but in improv you don’t know who or where you are, or what you’re doing, or why you’re doing it -- until you and a scene partner create characters, a relationship, an environment, and a story from a random suggestion. You will learn the basic improv rules and methods, in a fun, supportive environment. This event is sure to be fun and challenge you to try something new! The workshop is open to all, ages 16 and up.  

Sam Craig, who lives in Saluda, will lead the workshop. Sam began doing improv in 2009 and is a member of a performing improv team in Greenville. In addition, some members of Employees of the Month, a Hendersonville improv team, will present a short set to show how improv looks and feels in action.
